Wednesday's WAC-ified basketball galaxy

Chris Murray has the latest on former Wolf Pack star Nick Fazekas -- maybe you can go home again.

Chris is also all over the trio of talents expected to sign LOIs with Nevada today.

Dayton Morinaga features the engineer of Hawaii's attack, Shaq Stokes.

Chico State gave Nevada a scare (at least in the first half) before the Wolf Pack turned it on. Here's Joe Santoro and Chris Murray. Dan Hinxman offers a commentary on the game and the work-in-progress Carter-ites.

Wendell McKines explains his UTEP basketball tweak tweet -- Jason Groves has the story.

Plus, B.J. West is redshirting this season for the Aggies -- now that's a team with frontcourt depth.

Here's BYU Coach Dave Rose on his counterpart Friday evening in The Spectrum -- what a game that should be for so early in the season:

"Well, their personnel is different, but what they do and how they do it is very similar. Stew [Morrill] has been so successful, there is not a lot of reason to change. One thing about coach Morrill every year is that he has proven that his system is extremely successful. He gets guys to buy into that system and play in that system, and they are going to win a lot of games."
