Pleased to meet you, Mike Ladd.

Following five straight sub-par games, Ladd reintroduced himself to the Fresno State faithful by scoring a season-high 18 points in the Bulldogs' 68-57 victory Thursday night over UC Davis.

Ladd made 5 of 10 3-pointers as Fresno State evened its nonconference record at 5-5 despite committing 19 turnovers, a season-long issue.

After Ladd was finished, assistant coach Jeff Reinert reintroduced himself to the 6-foot-5 sophomore guard.

And Reinert was only half kidding...

Brandon Fields went to sleep with a sore body Thursday night.

That’s not because he played 38 minutes during Nevada’s game against Eastern Washington at Lawlor Events Center.

It’s because of the beating he received from his teammates in the post-game locker room after his 3-pointer with 4.3 seconds left gave the Wolf Pack a 73-70 victory over Eastern Washington in front of raucous 4,713 fans...
