New Mexico State puts in an early bid on a Canadian prospect

Gil Muako has tweeted that New Mexico State has offered a 2015 Canadian backcourter.

Muako also has the news that the young man will play ball in Orange County CA this season.

Here's an undated writeup on the prospect.

Will the early bird get the worm? Check back in two or so years.

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
