Tuesday's world of WAC hoops

Jeff Portnoy has another radio show tonight on UH baskeball -- here is his latest blog entry covering last week's show.

Dayton Morinaga has more on the military training being endured by the Rainbow Warriors.

We have it on good authority that there is no truth to the rumor that Navy Seal training is next.

+++++

Jason Groves serves up a couple of links in hs latest post. His Andy Katz one is interesting as former Aggie Herb Pope is noted as a possibility to end up on the John Wooden player honor list.

Also, catch Jason twittering as he and Wendell McKines are chatting away. One BigWen post:

"... If I don't average a double double this year I'm not playing basketball after college .. Catch me working at your nearest wal mart.. I swear ..."

For you longtime Fresno State fans, Renaldo Major is on the roster of 2011 Pan-Am Games player candidates.

Brian Archer has a pair of tweets here and here about Fresno State and local HS talents Robert Upshaw and Tyrone Wallace.

Josh Gershon  feels it will be California or Colorado for Wallace.

Hey, if Coach Rodney Perry can land both in November (11/09 is the initial day prospects can sign a letter-of-intent) then rip up the old one and give him a new contract, all before he coaches his first 'real' game.
