We've followed Will Donahue for some time now and were flummoxed by his decision to play football after graduating from Mesquite High. We imagine the thinking was that he had a chance to play professionally if things worked out on the gridiron. But it didn't and now Donahue is back with basketball.
Donahue is a 6-8, 275 basketballer at Phoenix College, a member of the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC). He's currently scoring 15.2 ppg., grabbing 10 boards a contest and is shooting 60% from the floor (95-116).
Fresno State among others are interested. Arizona Preps describes him as a bull -- he's very strong, thick and works hard for position. He's not much of a jumper but any team desiring a competitive physical presence who will lay his body against opponents should be following Donahue. He isn't the type of athlete Steve Cleveland typically pursues but the Bulldogs need a banger or two.
Here is an article on Donahue we did some time back.

I love the look of this young man. He'd look good in Nevada blue! We've wanted a banger for a long time, but Fox recruits length more than muscle.
