Remember Dominique Cooks?

There are probably even some Utah State fans who don't recall Dominique Cooks' residence on the Aggie roster but he was there for a short time.

Now Cooks plays at Chaminade University on Maui and he made 10 starts in 24 games as a freshman this season. Cooks averaged 6.1 points per game along with a 56/54 assist-to-turnover ratio. His shooting numbers: .455% overall, .333% on 21 trey attempts and 62 free throws.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
