This is simply a question and not based on any tips or inside scoop: will J'mison Morgan be interested in Louisiana Tech now that Ben Howland has said 'see ya later' to the former Louisiana prepster?

Granted, LSU might be the most logical destination but Morgan bailed on a previous commitment to Baton Rouge and Trent Johnson and it's not like he's a proven positive commodity after two seasons of injuries and very little playing time at UCLA.

So that gives the Pack a well regarded 6'4 frosh PG, a 6'5 sophomore SG transfer from Indiana, a 6'7 frosh wing (graded 87 from ESPN), a 6'7 PF sophomore transfer from Duke (92 ESPN) and a 6'10 PF frosh (88 ESPN). And we still have high hopes for a monster JC center that says we're tops on his list.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
