Host Wisconsin Green Bay finished a bucket better than Idaho, winning 63-61 Thursday night despite a marvelous 13 point, 12 rebound and four blocked shots performance from Kyle Barone.

Arkansas was simply better than Louisiana Tech to the tune of 77-63 in Fayetteville. It was another point-producing performance by Raheem Appleby -- 23 points -- but he took an inefficient 22 shots to reach that total.

In Reno, Nevada led Portland 46-26 at the half and generally maintained that lead to the conclusion, winning 75-58. A quarter of Wolf Packers scored in double figures, with Dario Hunt leading via 15 points and 11 boards. Deonte Burton scored just two points in 13 minutes of play (foul trouble).

Utah State jumped out to a 14 point halftime lead over Kent State, 35-21 and extended it as the game went on, finally winning 81-62. Kyisean Reed shot an amazing 12-13, exploding for 27 points, while Preston Medlin added 20 and big man Morgan Grim put up a 14/14 double-double.
