Welcome back Boise State basketball (as of July 1, 2013). That was short.

Host Colorado was up 38-23 at the half against Fresno State and that margin proved too difficult to overcome and the Boulder-ites prevailed 71-64. Soph backcourter Kevin Olekaibe scored 26 points but on 8-24 overall shooting. It was a weird numbers game altogether as the Bulldogs took 61 shot attempts (making 22) while the victorious Buffaloes put up but 37 shots, making 19. Colorado was 27-32 at the foul line, Fresno State 14-19. In 15 minutes of play, Kevin Foster registered just one rebound.
The Fresno Bee and the Boulder Daily Camera offer game reports.

It was ASU by two, 28-27, versus Nevada after 20 minutes but the Wolf Pack turned that around in the second half and won 69-61 in Tempe. Deonte Burton continued his recent upsurge in point production, totaling 28, boosted by going 13-15 from the foul line. The going-to-the-free-throw-line differential: 33 for Coach David Carter's group to 18 for Arizona State. Burton also racked up four rebounds, four steals and three assists.
The Reno Gazette-Journal has the details.

Washington State was 10 better than Idaho (35-25) in the initial period But the Vandals drew close, in a tie actually, before falling 66-64.
Vince Grippi serves up the scoop on the last second Couger shot that pushed WSU to victory. It was made by Reggie Moore, a former Fresno State commit.
