May be old news...

Maybe we have previously posted this or someone else has located the information but Jeff Goodman's latest transfer list has former Louisiana Tech backcourter Yonas Berhe as matriculating at Minot State in North Dakota.

We knew that Mychal Ladd had affiliated himself with Washington State but didn't realize he will be a walk-on (at least for this coming season). Ladd will be reunited with point Reggie Moore -- both were teammates at Rainer Beach High in Seattle. Moore originally committed to Fresno State but decided to go elsewhere.

We still be unable to locate a new home Kofi Mensa, who had been connected to New Mexico State as a commit He was at Mountain State Academy in West Virginia last season.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
