Allen Huddleston leaving Pacific

PTW has no idea where he is headed but sophomore backcourter Allen Huddleston is departing from Pacific. He averaged 11.1 points per game this past season, shooting 42% overall, 40% on 149 three-point attempts. The 6-foot-2 Huddleston's 42/45 assist-to-turnover ratio indicates he's much more a two guard than point. He's very quick and athletic. Huddleston is a native of Merced, CA.

All this is being posted as an FYI in case a WAC member is pursuing the young man.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
