Two WAC recruiting notes

Rivals' Eric Bossi is reporting that 6-foot-2 2012 Illinois prep backcourter Jerron Wilbut is receiving interest from Nevada as well as many others (a Rivals sub is required as is some scrolling down). It will be interesting to follow how Nevada does in the Midwest what with Dennis Gates' move to Miami.

NorCalPreps' Steve Hu is reporting that Fresno State is showing interest in 2012 point Amadi Udenyi, a 6-foot-2 guard out of De La Salle High in northern California (a Rivals sub is required).

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
