It was the Broncs getting bucked as Texas Arlington showed no neighborly mercy in downing Texas Pan-American 63-48 last night. A 39-19 first half margin sealed the deal early. Center Jordan Reves led with a 14/11 double-double, with forward Brandon Edwards just missing a D/D with 11/9 while Kevin Butler also scored 11 points. A 39-21 rebounding differential aided in the victory.

The margin was even bigger down in Ruston with Louisiana Tech taking apart Central Baptist College 118-48. 59-21 and 59-27 splits did the trick for Tech as the hosts out-shot the visitors 50% to 25% and dominated the boards 65-33. Both Kenneth Smith and Alex Hamilton passed for 10 assists apiece while reserve freshman Gilbert Talbot certainly enjoyed the night with his initial double-double of 10 points plus 11 boards.

Jordan Stone. The name sounds like a bad-guy-bashing cop on a television show or maybe a pilot who has landed a plane full of orphans in a blinding dust storm. But his current job is for the defense of USU as Kyle Goon explains.

Teddy Feinberg features Remi Barry who is beginning to make an impact in Las Cruces.
TeddyF also covers NMSU's upcoming rivalry rematch, specifically how much has changed since the teams first met this season.
Tyrone Watson won't be suiting up this Saturday.
This certainly is an interesting piece even if minutely tangential to WAC hoops.
The next WAC games are scheduled for Saturday.
