Chris Murray completes his WAC previews

There's not even a tinge of 'homer-ism" here -- it's a widely held belief (that is, minus certain outposts in Logan and Las Cruces) that Nevada has the best ingredients to be tops in the WAC in 2008-2009.

Yes, certain things need to happen and certain players need to come through (which is true for all the contenders) but, barring every Wolf Packer heading out and doing something nefarious at a local mall, Mark Fox's squad should rightly be the preview pick as #1 in the WAC.

The best laid plans of college basketball coaches don't always come to fruition.

Coaches can spend years developing players, months recruiting a position of need and be on the precipice of a special season.

And it can all be thrown for a loop with a single player leaving school early to chase his NBA dream.
