First impressions can sometimes be misleading, but there are some lessons Nevada basketball fans can take from the Wolf Pack’s 89-67 exhibition win over San Francisco State on Saturday at Lawlor Events Center.
Joey Shaw is a multifaceted scorer
The junior-college transfer can score in a variety of ways, and he displayed most of those ways while scoring a team-high 25 points in Saturday’s win.
Shaw was 2-for-2 from 3-point range, got to the free throw line for 14 attempts and attacked the basket with aggression and athleticism. The 6-foot-6 wing even played a little point guard... Go here for the remainder.
