Greg Graham has a new commit

Greg Graham and Boise State have a new basketball committ: 5-10 Mason Sawyer of West Jordan High, a 5A all-state honorable mention last season.

There's not much available on the kid but we'll keep digging. The best we could find so far comes from Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune who reported the commitment:

"Head coach Scott Briggs just confirmed that his point guard, Mason Sawyer, committed to Boise State a few days ago. Sawyer averaged eight points and six assists last season, but had a great summer and enters this season as one of the best pure point guards in Class 5A..."

Go here for the remainder and it's the third entry on November 4.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
