It's a given that Jonathan Gibson and Jahmar Young will make up two fifths of the Aggie starting five but it's anyone's guess after that -- who the other three members are may end up being a game-by-game decision based upon practice play, game production and the lineup of the opponent. Regardless, Coach Marvin Menzies is expecting most of his kids to help out this season and stressing that starting isn't all that important.

LAS CRUCES — Aside from guards Jonathan Gibson and Jahmar Young, the New Mexico State University men's basketball team is remarkably similar in roster spots three through 11.
Aggies head coach Marvin Menzies sees that as a positive as his team prepares to open the 2008-09 season on Saturday at home against UC Riverside.
"The important thing is that we have talented guys waiting to come into the game," Menzies said. "I feel like anyone I go to off the bench on a given night is capable of starting. If we develop the way that we want, I think our strength of our team will be our bench."
Just as he did last year, Menzies does not emphasize the starting five... Go here for the remainder.
