Aaron Garner the subject of a nice feature

Little-known Aaron Garner gets some nice pub here:

Boise State men's basketball guard Garner makes the most of his minutes
The senior has the best shooting percentage of the Broncos' guards despite playing the least.

Aaron Garner leads the Boise State men's basketball team in 3-point shooting percentage (44.8 percent).

Among guards, he has the best overall shooting percentage (48.9 percent) and ranks second in assist-to-turnover ratio behind starting point guard Anthony Thomas.

Garner has done all this despite playing the fewest minutes (18.3 per game) of the four guards in the rotation...

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
