Pack basketball: Fox says adversity is good for young Pack

Between the Nevada basketball team’s two practices Monday, Wolf Pack coach Mark Fox gathered his team and delivered a short history lesson.
One by one, he talked about the adversity each of the last five Nevada basketball teams faced. Then he pointed out that each of those teams won Western Athletic Conference regular-season titles.
The message was timely because this year’s team has already faced plenty of adversity, the latest a 64-57 loss to UNLV on Saturday night.
“It’s part of the process of winning,” Fox told about 200 boosters during his monthly Time-Out Luncheon at the Silver Legacy. “We welcome some bumps in the road because you have to have them to grow and learn and eventually become what you can be...” Go here for the remainder.
