When Edgar Jones soared through the air to throw home a crowd-pleasing dunk in the 1970s, he was there.
When Matt Williams sank a buzzer-beater to send the Nevada basketball team to a win over Idaho in the 1980s, he was there.
When Eathan O'Bryant and Faron Hand became Wolf Pack fan favorites in the 1990s, he was there.
When Kirk Snyder and Nick Fazekas pushed the program into the national spotlight in the 2000s, he was there.
Although the memories aren't as sharp as they once were -- he is 70 years old, after all -- Vart Markarian's mind is a like a filofax into the Wolf Pack's past.
Markarian, who graduated from UNR in 1965, has been a Nevada basketball season-ticket holder in each of the last four decades... Go here for the remainder.
