Montana is a tough team to beat in Missoula but the Grizzlies came to Fresno yesterday and took a win against the Bulldogs. The load of newcomers and the general inexperience of FSU seemingly were factors as Steve Cleveland's squad came out flat and stayed that way for most of the game.

With his eyes closed and face plopped on his hand, Steve Cleveland sat on the bench and let out a long sigh.
At that moment, it seemed the Fresno State coach showed more energy than his men's basketball team did through the first 35 minutes Sunday afternoon of a 69-65 loss to Montana at the Save Mart Center.
Lacking energy on offense and emotion on defense, Fresno State trailed by as many as 15 points, a deficit too deep for its push in the final five minutes to have an impact... Go here for the remainder.
