Kurt Cunningham -- master shootist

Did anyone predict this, let alone expect it?

That being Boise's Kurt Cunningham is shooting a league-leading 85% from the floor this season!!! He's currently 24-28.

For perspective, right now only teammate Paul Noonan among WAC players is doing better but his marksmanship is a higher FREE THROW shooting percentage.

It's appropriate that Cunningham be recognized since we gave major props to USU's Gary Wilkinson and Tai Wesley earlier for their remarkable field goal shooting.

Cunningham is accomplishing this feat in just under 18 minutes a game.

Here's an article that obviously spurred this post:

BOISE — When a student arrives on their college campus, part of adjusting is living without home cooking.

For Boise State junior center Kurt Cunningham, that's a good thing.

When he came to Boise from Indiana three years ago, he tipped the scales at 300 pounds. Now at 260 pounds, he's a big part of the Broncos' offense this season...

Go here for the remainder.
