Idaho signee Shawn Henderson is a 6-3, 190 backcourter currently at Northern Idaho College. In eight games to date (7 starts), he is averaging a league-leading 21 ppg., with 29 free throws made, 17 threes nailed, while shooting .488 percent from the floor and .395% on 43 three-point attempts. Henderson is playing 17.9 minutes a game.
Former Louisiana Tech signee D.J. Wright is at Salt Lake CC for this season and next until he returns to Ruston. The 6-7, 225 forward has started all 12 games and is averaging 17.6 ppg. He has nailed eight treys in 17 attempts and 23 free throws in 27 attempts. Wright is rebounding at a 9.5 rpg. clip and has also compiled 32 assists and blocked 20 shots in 23.5 minutes a game.
6-8, 245 Utah State signee Nate Bendall has averaged 22.5 minutes a game in 13 contests to date and is scoring 14.2 ppg. while shooting .587% from the floor. He's also nailed 48 free throws. On the boards, he's at 7.0 rpg. (32 off 52 def) and has 6 shotblocks to his credit. He is also at SLCC.
Former Idaho frontcourter Phil Thomas has seen court time in all 11 games at Eastern Utah, with two starts. At 6-8, 240, he's scoring 7.4 ppg., shooting 65% from the floor and nabbing 3.5 rpg. -- all in 6.8 minutes each contest. It's not known (to us) if he has an agreement to return to Moscow or not.
