A couple more items

Per Mario Gomez at the Bark Board, Fresno State big Brandon Webster has left the team and seems headed to an NAIA school. Go here for the article and a Scout sub is required.

Thanks to Sportsbow at the Hawaii Scout site message board for this find:

RFM Christian Academy point Mike Lyons has given a verbal commitment to Hawaii. It's a school in Melbourne, Florida. According to the numbers at Maxpreps.com, Lyons is averaging 19.7 points, 7.7 assists, 7.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. From YouTube comes this.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
