I remember in the mid 90's the Albuquerque Journal had a UNM vs NMSU preview headline that read "Thomas Wyatt: The straw that stirs the Stink" refering not to the Aggies team quality but the trash talk and aggresive play that those 20th century Neil McCarthy squads embodied.
Just a thought...
