Friday's WAC report: one game summary plus a bit more

Idaho headed across the border to Eastern Washington last night and took an 81-79 victory in overtime. Stephen Madison posted a monster 29/10 double-double on 12-23 shooting while Kyle Barone earned his own double-double and more with 20 points plus 11 rebounds and five blocked shots. The Vandals won the battle of the boards 51/29.

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
