Sam Bowie acknowledges he was injured from day one

Not WAC-related but PTW still thinks Portland got a bum rap in forever being damned as the team that drafted Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan. Now, Bowie admits he was hurting from the beginning of his NBA career but didn't reveal that to anyone.

What Bowie could do was extraordinary and he was next door to seven-feet tall. PTW would love to administer sodium pentathol to every NBA general manager on that draft day in order to see who would have went with Bowie and who with Jordan. Methinks it would have been an even split at best.

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision.
