San Antonio was in South Carolina facing USC Upstate and the hosts proved rather rude, winning 88-77, while shooting 30-49. Back in November, the Roadrunners matched up with this same team and won 67-59. A 43-22 halftime deficit was too large to overcome. Forward Jeromie Hill earned a 23/10 double-double while Kannon Burrage totaled 29 points plus four assists.

San Jose State University wants the state capital moved back to Silicon Valley after beating Sacramento State 62-57. Idaho traveled to El Paso and kept in close with the Miners before falling 64-60. Connor Hill was zeroes in from outside, scoring 16 points on 5-7 shooting from long distance. Center Kyle Barone got just four shots, not nearly enough to fear the beard but foul trouble figured in that. The Vandals shot 45% but allowed UTEP to shoot 52%.

It's from the previous game -- Idaho at Eastern Washington -- but Jesse Tinsley/Spokane Spokesman Review snapped a number of great game photos. Credit silvergoldwold for posting the link at the VandalsNet MB.

, playing its first game since Danny Berger was sidelined, has no trouble with Western Oregon to the tune of 86-57. It must have been the Marcel Davis Coming Out Party as the freshman point lined up 21 points (9-11 overall shooting, 3-5 from long distance), five rebounds, a trio of assists and zero turnovers. Preston Medlin went for 18.

Kyle Goon, Matt Sonnenberg, Timothy R. Olsen, Shawn Harrison and Kraig Williams each game reports.
