Looking at some team numbers

* Idaho leads the WAC in shooting at 49% while holding opponents to 41%. Sounds like the necessary stats to be a conference contender? But the Vandals are also -8.2 in turnovers and that's flat out unbelievable.

* Is Seattle really at 58% free throw shooting as a team? Really?

* Speaking of Texas San Antonio, when your field goal shooting is 39% and your allowing opponents to connect at a 54% rate, well, you don't need a weatherman to tell you that means trouble.

* Denver is tops is field goal percentage defense at 38% with nary a player over 6-foot-6 (if that).

* A trio of teams are holding opponents below 30% in long distance shooting defense: Idaho 26%, Louisiana Tech 28% and Denver 29%.

* Seattle does enjoy some impressive numbers in certain categories: holding opponents to 40% overall shooting, 31% on trey attempts, +4 in rebounding margin, #1 in offensive rebounds with 14.0, fourth in blocked shots at 4.0, second in assists at 15.3 and the best in steals with 8.3.
