Games tonight and more

Hawaii is shorthanded as the Rainbow Warriors invade the O.C. to face Irvine tonight. Word is the Irvine roster has undergone quite the facelift and a lot of authentic housewives are expected to be in attendance. Dayton Morinaga/Honolulu Advertiser has his preview as does Brian McInnis/Honolulu Star Bulletin likewise.

Shawn Harrison/Herald Journal previews the not-to-be Marquis of Queenberry matchup between Utah State and BYU, as does Jared Eborn/Deseret News. Three words of advice: bring your earplugs. Of course, The Refraction-ers aren't missing this opportunity.

Travis Mason-Bushman video previews Idaho's venture to Cal State Northridge.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
