Utah State will face a familiar player

This isn't really the wayward son story arc nor anti-thematic of Thomas Wolfe's "You Can't Go Home Again" so we'll let Shawn Harrison explain an interesting point about Utah State hosting Utah Valley State tonight:

When the Wolverines last visited the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, only one current member of the team saw action for Utah Valley University. Kevin Woods logged 24 minutes in that Dec. 20, 2007 game.

While he is the only player with experience in facing rabid Utah State fans, a fellow teammate is well aware of how crazy the Spectrum can get tonight.

Aaron England spent the 2006-07 season as an Aggie. He redshirted at USU, then left the program...

For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
