Jared Eborn/Deseret News is on Twitter here. He posted a series of blog entries on last night's game so go here to begin.
Also, Tony Jones/Salt Lake City Tribune almost overwhelms with a flurry of blog entries at his Aggieville site. Grab a beverage and start here.
Utah State fans are indeed blessed -- consider the amount of coverage the Aggies receive compared to some big city schools who have to compete with professional franchises in a myriad of sports.

Josh Wright has his Vandal - Eastern Oregon game story here.

Go here to read about the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport hotel. No, we are not kidding. Yes, we are flogging an inert Equus ferus caballus (using that line again) but why doesn't ESPN just cut the glitziness (smoke and mirrors?) quotient back just a tad, take the savings and (re)toss a bone to Kyle Whelliston? The answer is that any entity which would assign a fulltime reporter to shadow Barry Bonds is devoid of the judgment necessary to make such a determination.
So c'mon Sports Illustrated step up. Drop a swimsuit model or two -- that's all it would take. Hey, paint a bikini on us (you better buy many gallons) -- we will accept the resulting humiliation. It would be worth it to broaden Whelliston's audience.

To rehire the fantastic Whelliston would be a great move, but it would undermine their teaching moment. The slightest perceived slur on the World Wide Leader will be met with permanent banishment. I miss Kyle's articles and chats on ESPN.com. It's really sad that there's no real competition for his services in big media.
I do subscribe to MidMajority and BB State and I hope he makes it out there on his own.
