Just a little bit more on Brandon Davies

Considering Gary Wilkinson's impending graduation after this season, Brandon Davies would be a great 'get' for Stew Morrill if it comes to be. Here's a brief Rivals article with the latest on Davies:

...After his October 11 visit to local school BYU, Davies will cut his list to at least two if not down to one. The number one issue directing his decision making will be how far away from home he wants to go to school.

"All three schools are even to me, and they are all good choices," said the 6-foot-8, 200-pound Davies. "It's going to be hard to decide between them. The big thing for me is to decide how close to home I want to be..."

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
