No. 2 UTAH STATE
Coach: Stew Morrill (11th year)
Last season: 24-11 overall, 12-4 WAC
Returning starters: Three (SG Tyler Newbold, SF Tai Wesley, PF Gary Wilkinson)
Player to watch: Gary Wilkinson, sr.: Wilkinson is the only player from the All-WAC first or second team to return to the conference this season. Last year, he played a complimentary role to Aggie star Jaycee Carroll. This year, he is the star. Wilkinson averaged 13.3 ppg and 7.0 rpg last season, while being extremely efficient from the field (58.4 FG percent, 81.5 FT percent). The 6-foot-9, 240-pound power forward is the only senior on the team and will be relied upon to anchor Utah State on both ends of the court... Go here for the remainder.
