Here's Chris Murray's second WAC team preview

Hawaii should have one standout player in 2008-2009 but his supporting cast isn't quite there yet. Here's Chris Murray with his blog site take on this season's Rainbow Warriors.

Last season: 11-19 overall, 7-9 WAC
Returning starters: One (PF Bill Amis)

Player to watch: Roderick Flemings, jr.: Hawaii lured a big fish to the island of Oahu when the 6-foot-7, 210-pound Flemings signed to play for the Warriors. The small forward began his career with Oklahoma State before averaging 20.7 ppg and 11.7 rpg while earning junior-college All-American honors at Weatherford (Texas) College last season. Flemings — who reportedly had offers from Kentucky, Texas A&M and Arkansas — thought about entering the NBA draft before signing with Hawaii. He should be a top contender for the WAC scoring title...
