Rivals is reporting that Fresno State Coach Steve Cleveland landed two commitments over the weekend. Neither is a 'big' but both are preps as Cleveland continues the revamping of his roster. Here's Jed Tai, Mr. Basketball in the northwest, with the scoop:

Fresno State head coach Steve Cleveland is scoring big in the Class of 2009. Already holding commitments from Chris Jones and Greg Smith, Cleveland and his staff hoped to add to their talley this weekend while hosting more of their top targets on campus. Garrett Johnson, a versatile 6-foot-5, 190-pound swingman from Diamond Ranch High School in Pomona, was one young man the Bulldogs had their sights on for quite some time - was his trip to Fresno State enough to bring him in?
"I committed on my visit," Johnson said. "It's a great place, a great community, they get great fan support, and the location is not too far away from home. I wanted to be part of that community..." Go here for the remainder and a Rivals subscription is required.

Cleveland also got a verbal from a similarly-sized Bay Area prep:

It was a big weekend for Steve Cleveland and staff, as a few potential basketball commits were on campus over the weekend to check out the surroundings. After finding out that the Bulldogs had landed small forward Garrett Johnson from Pomona earlier in the day, the news got better on Sunday afternoon with the news of a 3-star commit from the Bay Area.
The Bulldogs appear to be on the road to recovery and the recruiting class of 2009 took a big step forward this weekend. With three commits to the class already in the bank, Fresno State landed 3-star, small forward Jerry Brown from San Francisco (Calif.) Sacred Heart Cathedral...
