Texas JCer chooses Nacogdoches over Boise

Sometimes it's just impossible to pry kids away from home and this looks like exactly the case despite it being Nacogdoches, Texas and The Southland Conference versus Boise, Idaho and The Western Athletic Conference.

Coming out of La Vega High School in Waco, Jordan Glynn was essentially an unknown. But after a breakout freshman season at McLennan College and especially after an eye-opening weekend at the prestigious Mullens Camp in Tulsa this summer, the 6-foot-7, 225-pound post became a hot commodity. Glynn earned a number of solid options this fall and after taking a number of visits he's decided to stay in-state for school.

"Basically I was going the last couple of weeks debating between Stephen F. Austin and Boise State and I decided on Stephen F. Austin," Glynn said. "It's a good school where I fit in and I already know two of their players in Walt Harris and Eric Bell, so I'm already familiar with the team. I really like the campus and how there's a lot of fan support from the community..."
