It's subtext but Fresno State is correctly not putting on airs about the coming basketball season -- the Bulldogs are gazing at what's to come with finally having a full complement of scholarships available next season:

They don't call it the Wacky WAC without good reason.
Last season, four men's basketball teams tied for the Western Athletic Conference regular-season championship.
Then Boise State outlasted New Mexico State in triple overtime at the WAC tournament to earn the conference's lone NCAA Tournament berth.
How to top that?
...Cleveland has been limited to nine scholarships the past few years because of NCAA violations by former coaches and players. Next year, he'll receive his allotted 13, one reason he recruited six freshmen and added depth to his team... Go here for the complete article.
