For those who care

There has been an Aaron Brooks discovery. Now such may not be on a par with John Marshall coming across gold in California in 1849 but we were wondering where the former Vandal was.

Thanks to poster tvand at the GoVandals.net site, we read that Brooks is playing basketball in Durango, Colorado.

Here's what we found on Brooks at the D-2 Fort Lewis athletics site:

*** 24 games, 15 starts, playing a bit less than 20 minutes a game
*** 10.6 ppg.
*** .515% from the floor
*** 7.3 rpg.
*** 138 assists, 80 turnovers

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
