Weird WAC wonderings

Why is Nevada 3-3 at home and 3-1 on the road?

Better yet, why is San Jose State 1-4 at home yet 3-2 on the road?

Even LA TECH has more road than home wins -- 2-4 away from Ruston and 1-4 at home sweet home

Hawaii is still enjoying whatever added advantage the Rainbow Warriors have with teams coming in from the cold and frozen mainland, being 3-3 in Honolulu and 1-4 elsewhere.

Even New Mexico State has a many road wins and home ones -- 3.

11/01/08: LOUISIANA TECH UPDATE: "Kevin McCarthy over at Parsing the WAC, an excellent source of WAC basketball news, was contacted by somebody familiar with the recent departure of four Louisiana Tech basketball players (which we touched on last week). For those who don't know, Drew Washington, Dwayne Lathan, Orrim Tims and Brandon Mims were dismissed after meeting with coach Kerry Rupp two weeks ago. Lathan said he was blindsided by the decision. McCarthy’s source, who remained anonymous, said there was more to the story than met the eye."
