Jerry Brown gets analyzed

No, ol' Sigmund doesn't have Jerry Brown under observation. On the contrary, the folks at NorCalPreps have posted an analysis of Fresno State signee Jerry Brown's game and potential.

Here is how it begins:

Strengths: Brown is a prototypical small forward at 6-foot-7, who is a very active player around the basket. He has good athleticism and is best in transition where he uses his length and athleticism to attack the basket.

In addition to his length, Jerry is very aggressive on the offensive end as he is always attacking the basket. And most importantly, he plays hard. In the half court, Brown is effective off the dribble going right as he uses a wide array of moves to the basket including the pull up jumper, spin move and hard dribble drive, which often results in either a foul or a basket.

At the high school level, he is very effective at getting fouled. Brown usually shoots between 6-10 free throws a game based solely on his aggressiveness. He also can pass and handle the ball adequately in transition or the open court...
