Aggies' 3-point shooting buries Bulldogs

Behind a red-hot 3-point shooting performance and a 22-point night from Stavon Williams, Utah State cruised to a relatively easy 85-68 win over Fresno State in the Western Athletic Conference quarterfinals Thursday.
The Aggies (28-4) hit 13-of-21 3-pointers — Williams making six of them — and built a big lead early and never trailed.
Gary Wilkinson and Jared Quayle each scored 18 as USU ended the Bulldogs' season.
Utah State jumped out to a commanding 16-2 lead less than four minutes into the game, as the Aggies were almost perfect on offense... Go here for the remainder.
Williams played 22 minutes, thus producing a point every 60 seconds.
Game keys: shooting and rebounding
USU shot 53% overall (26-49), 61% from three-point range (13-21) and 20-25 from the foul line. The Aggies out-boarded the Bulldogs 32-20.
